Of Forest Hills, age 98, on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

Beloved wife of the late William Seng for 65 years.

Loving mother of Thomas W. (Mary) Seng of North Huntingdon, Patti Brooks of Forest Hills, Mary Jo (Steve) Dunn of McCandless, Diane (Edward) Kutch of Penn Hills, Jacqueline Hainsworth of AZ, William (Beth) Seng of Harrisburg and Beth (Pat) Valenti of Wilkins Twp.

Cherished grandmother of 13, great-grandmother of 9 and Wilma was also survived by  a great-great-grandson.

Dear sister of Rita (Jim) Malley of West Mifflin.

Preceded in death by sisters, Sr. Adrian Dimmerling, D.P., Vera (late Howard) Claiborne, Agnes (late Matt) Kollar and Violet Dimmerling and brothers, Bishop Harold J. Dimmerling and Carl (late Evelyn) Dimmerling.

Wilma was an original member and active volunteer of St. Maurice Parish in Forest Hills where she was a member of the Christian Mothers, the Apostolate Committee, the Ladies of Charity and served as Chairperson of the Flea Market for many years. Wilma was also the organizer for parish prayer visits to funeral homes in order to minister to deceased parishioners and their families.  She and her husband, Bill, were much appreciated for the thousands of donuts that they made and sold to raise funds for the new church building on Ardmore Blvd. After raising her children, Wilma was known as a talented artist as she painted oil paintings, with watercolors and she painted china. She also created and sketched her own greeting cards.

Wilma was a staunch Penn State football fan and an elite customer of Drew’s in Forest Hills where she had her own special booth.

Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 2-7pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).

Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maurice Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Wilma will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.

Wilma’s family extends deep gratitude to the staff of Juniper Village in Forest Hills and the staff of Bridges Hospice.

Memorial donations may be made to the Ladies of Charity of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 2001 Ardmore Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15221
