William M. Wargo

Of North Huntingdon, age 85, died on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at UPMC East in Monroeville. Bill was born May 2, 1936, in Smith Township, PA. Born the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Semich) Wargo. Bill was retired from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. He was a Cold War veteran and retired from the Navy Reserves. Bill was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Irwin. He was a life member of VFW post 781 in North Huntingdon. Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marlene (Krause) Wargo, a son William S. Wargo and his wife Renee of Greensburg. Two granddaughters Bailey and Jodi of Cheswick. Three brothers: John (Sheila) of Old Bridge NJ, Robert (Sally) of Warren Center, PA. George (Vicki) of Endicott NY, also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services are private to the family. Arrangements made by Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).

Bill will be laid to rest at Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
