William Franke Obituary

Of Fayetteville, Adams County, a native of Turtle Creek, age 75, died on Friday, June 10, 2022.

Beloved spouse of Kathy Anders Franke of Fayetteville.

Father of Tracy Lynn Franke of TX.

Stepfather of Tim (Michelle) Lau, Jaime (Doug) Morgan, Jonathan (Carisa) Lau, Whitney (Craig) Weller and Jordan (George) Natoli.

Brother of Joseph (Charlotte) Franke of Harrison City and the late Walter (surviving spouse Mary) Franke.

Bill is also survived by 9 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Bill was a 1965 graduate of Turtle Creek High School and began his work career at Westinghouse Electric, East Pittsburgh plant. While with Westinghouse, he earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Pittsburgh. Bill transferred to Westinghouse sites in Ohio and Indiana before eventually settling in the York, PA vicinity. Until a few years ago, Bill enjoyed a round of golf. He also loved fishing and camping with his family and vacationing with them to spots like Aruba and Myrtle Beach.

Friends are welcome on Monday from 2-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Bill will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.
