William H. Boyd

Of North Versailles, formerly of Wilkinsburg, age 78, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 13, 2026.

Beloved husband of Mary Ellen (Cahill) Pusateri.

Loving father of Eric (Amanda) Boyd and Melissa (Chase) Kendres. 

Cherished grandfather of Parker and Owen Kendres, and Emmalyn, Evan, and Elaina Boyd. 

Adored great grandfather of Angela Marie Boyd.

Dear brother of Michael Boyd and John (Teresa) Rosemeyer.

Preceded in death by his son, Jay Neil Raymond Boyd; his grandson, Brian William Daniel Boyd; and his siblings, Jacqueline SalDeMarco, Robert Boyd, Kenneth Boyd, and Daniel Boyd.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, his furbabies, Buddy and Elliot, and his lifelong friend, Robert Stanton.

Bill was raised in the town of Wilkinsburg and proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy.  Bill was a skilled draftsman whose talent and attention to detail were evident in everything he created. His artistic ability served him well throughout his work with several advertising companies throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.  Beyond his work, Bill’s heart belonged to music.  He enjoyed listening to music and playing it, many will remember it as a clear way he expressed himself.  The memories Bill leaves behind are those of a man who lived with heart, talent, and authenticity. He brought creativity to his work, joy to his music, and kindness to his relationships.  Though he is no longer with us, the legacy of his gentle spirit and the happiness he shared will remain.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m.

Bill will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Allegheny Cemetery (Lawrenceville).
