Wayne F. Granchai

Of Canonsburg, formerly of North Braddock, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

Beloved husband of Diana (Pulit) Granchai for 61 years.

Loving father of Mark Granchai of the State of Washington and Craig Granchai of Canonsburg.

Treasured grandfather of his twin granddaughters, Kassie and Kylie Granchai. 

Dear brother of Louella (the late Gene) Dzuricsko.  Uncle of Troy and Tory Dzuricsko. 

Adored cousin of Carole (Joe) Forno, along with numerous other cousins.

Wayne was a 1961 graduate of North Braddock Scott High School.  He was a former employee of Westinghouse Plant in East Pittsburgh.  Wayne was an avid bowler, and a member of bowling leagues that played at the New Great Valley Lanes in North Versailles.  But most of all, golf was Wayne’s passion.  He traveled to countless golf courses throughout western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. 

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 2-6 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, (412- 823-9350).

Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday in St. Bernadette Church, Monroeville,

 of Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish at 10:30a.m.

Wayne will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
