Tracy L. (Saye) Toncich

Of Wilkins Twp., age 57, died on Friday, November 18, 2022.

Tracy was the beloved and devoted wife of Joseph A. Toncich, Jr. for 22 years.

Sister of Bobbi Jo (John) Saye of VA., Cindy Bloom of NY and Terry Saye of NY.

Tracy was a native of Meadville, PA and graduated from Meadville High School in 1983. She was inspired to become a funeral director and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1993. Upon completion of her studies at PIMS, Tracy served her internship at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and became a Licensed Funeral Director in 1994. She was a highly competent, compassionate, caring and dedicated funeral director at Lanigan Funeral Home for 14 years. In 2008, because of her love of animals, especially cats, she decided to start her own business, Precious Pets, a pet crematory. Tracy and her husband, Joe, have operated the pet crematory in North Braddock until Tracy’s recent and long-term health issues proved too difficult to manage.

Tracy’s passion was caring for her cats. As Joe said, “Tracy loved her cats, and tolerated me”.

Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800) where a Funeral Service will be held at 7pm.
