Timothy D. Crone, “The Mayor of Mucklerat”

Of Forest Hills, age 71, the proclaimed ‘Mayor of Mucklerat’, died on Saturday September 20, 2025.

Tim was the son of the late Margaret Joyce.

He was the dear cousin of John (Kim) Tougher of Beaver Falls and Marty (Kim) Tougher of North Huntingdon.

He is survived by many friends.

‘The Mayor” was a 1972 graduate of Churchill High School and was a former employee and former Vice-President of Multi-Service Supply Division of Buncher Company.

Since its inception in 1983, Tim was the coach for over 30 years of the famous softball team WOHFTB, which spelled out is “We’re Only Here For The Beer”. Lifelong friends and memories were created with the team.

Friends are welcome on Sunday from 1-3pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800, where a service will be held at 3pm.
