Of Turtle Creek, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Born the son of the late Charles H. Watts, Sr. and the late Margaret (Sabota) Watts.
Beloved brother of Maureen (Ed) Onder of Penn Township and the late Charles H. “Chuck” Watts, Jr.
Loving uncle of Jessica and Brandon Onder.
Also survived by his longtime friend, Steve Seigel, and countless other friends and coworkers.
Tim was a graduate of Churchill Area High School, and went on to attend CCAC Boyce in Monroeville. He was a longtime employee of The Original Hotdog Shop in Oakland, where he served as a manager and was a close friend of the Simon family, who owned the business. He also worked for The Exchange video and record store in the Southside. For several years Tim has been a valued employee for Napoli Pizza in Squirrel Hill, where he earned countless friendships. He was a skilled bass player and alongside his brother, Chuck, was a member of the Wattz Brothers Band. He was also a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. Through the years, Tim enjoyed roller skating and going to dance clubs with friends. He had a passion for collecting and selling items on EBay, and was a frequent visitor and vendor for local flea markets. Tim found solace in his morning routine of having a coffee at the Starbucks located in Penn Center, where he also frequented Applebee’s.
Tim will forever be remembered for his charismatic personality, his willingness to help anyone in need, and his ability to lift the spirits of those he surrounded.
Friends are welcome on Friday from 3- 7p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
