Thomas "Tim" Murray Obituary
Of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Swissvale, age 76, passed away on February 25, 2024.
Born the son of the late Thomas Murray and the late Flotilla (Packard) Murray.
Loving brother of Linda Francis and the late Joanne Batslear.
Also survived by dear friends.
Tim was a proud 1965 graduate of St. Anselm Catholic High School in Swissvale. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a Military Police Officer for the U.S. Army. Tim stayed connected to his fellow comrades of the military, by maintaining an active role within the Swissvale American Legion, Post 63, and even held the position of Post Commander years ago. He worked for many years for West Penn Testing, where he surveyed and tested the durability of construction materials and equipment.
Tim was laid to rest in Bay Pines National Cemetery in St. Petersburg, FL. Presentation of Military Honors will be performed at a later date.
