Thomas P. "Snitch" Zoretich

Of Turtle Creek, age 70, passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2024.

Born on March 27, 1954, son of the late Andrew Zoretich and the late Florence (Repic) Zoretich.

Beloved husband of Patricia M. (McGuire) Zoretich for 45 wonderful years.

Loving father of Andrew Zoretich of North Side.

Adored brother of Richard (late Darlene) Zoretich.  Brother-in-law of Teri (Michael) Loadman and the late Shirley Freto.  Uncle of Tim (Debbie) Zoretich, Kimberly (Barry) Giacobbi, Jenna Loadman, Calla Loadman, Tony Freto, and David Freto.  Great uncle of Luca.

Snitch was proud to have been raised in the town of Rankin, PA, and was a 1972 graduate of Rankin High School.  Snitch worked as a courier for over 30 years, most notably for S&T Bank. 

Snitch’s childhood in Rankin allowed him to gain countless friendships which he treasured even until his final days.  Snitch and his friends shared a passion for music, which inspired them to form their own band, Luv N Touch.  Being raised in Rankin also allowed Snitch to appreciate, and furthermore celebrate, his ethnic Croatian heritage.  From a young age, he took interest in joining the Rankin Junior Tamburitzas. Little did Snitch know at the time, this would lead to decades of joyous musical celebrations, filled with Snitch playing his bugarija or guitar with passion and soul.    

Throughout his life, Snitch's musical journey was marked by his involvement with several Tamburitza groups, such as, Penn Sembles Tamburitza Group, Tamburski Zabor Svete Marje, St. Mary’s Tamburitza Group, and Stari Prijatelji, through which he gained countless friendships. His talent and warm spirit were the highlights of many concerts, leaving a legacy of harmony and camaraderie that will resonate for years to come.

Snitch's absence will be profoundly felt, but his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to know him. His life was a melody of love and kindness that played to the very end, and his tune will forever echo in the hearts of his friends and the music he so dearly loved.

A Croatian Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
