Thomas Priestley Obituary

Of North Versailles, formerly of Wilmerding and Wall, age 73, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Born the son of the late Frederick Priestley and the late Laura (Stauffer) Priestley.

Beloved husband of Josephine (Licina) Priestley for 53 years.

Loving father of Sandy McAfee, Barbara Priestley, and Marcia Bayko.

Dear grandfather of Maura and Emma.

Preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Tom is survived by nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Tom was proud to have been born and raised in Wilmerding, PA and was a graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School.  He was employed with several different auto parts stores throughout the area, and eventually retired from Mawdi Auto Parts (formerly Uni-Select).  Aside from working in the automotive industry, Tom was a well-known gearhead, and found enjoyment working on cars, especially his blue Chevy Nova.  Tom enjoyed taking trips to hunt and fish.  He had a passion for music, in his early years he was a drummer in a band and later in his life, he served as a disk jockey.  Tom will forever be remembered for his warm spirit and the many laughs he shared with those around him.
