Thomas A. Payne

Of North Huntingdon, formerly of East Pittsburgh, age 86, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023.

Born the son of the late John Payne and the late Georgette (Hammer) Payne.

Devoted husband of Nichole (Padezan) Payne for 63 wonderful years.

Loving father of Nicholas Payne of East McKeesport and Michael (Betty) Payne of Ligonier.

Adored grandfather of Hunter Payne, Nicholas “Niko” Payne, Jason Payne, Jenna (Zachary) Saunders, Julia Payne, and the late Justin Payne.

Cherished great-grandfather of Anastasia and Justin “LJ” Payne.

Dear brother of William (Genevieve) Payne, John (Mary Lou) Payne, Mary Rose (Joseph) Rudman, and the late Robert James “Jeep” Payne.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tom was born and raised in the town of East Pittsburgh and attended East Pittsburgh High School.  He worked for over 20 years as a truck driver for Wilkins Construction Company as a member of the Teamsters Local 341 Union.  Tom was a hardworking and skilled concrete finisher, who completed countless projects throughout the Turtle Creek valley over the years.  Some of his favorite memories were the ones spent at the East Pittsburgh V.F.W. Post 5008 wagering on football games with his uncles “Pep” and “Chess”.  Tom treasured taking trips to Florida, and spending time with his family, especially his soul mate, Nichole.
