Thomas Leach Obituary

Of North Braddock, originally from Wilkinsburg, age 101, died peacefully at his son Tom’s home in North Huntingdon. Tom was born on November 27, 1918 during the Spanish Flu epidemic and died Saturday, March 28, 2020 during the Covid-19 epidemic.

Beloved husband of the late Annabel (Powers) Leach.

Loving father of Thomas (Georgetta) Leach, Jr. of North Huntingdon, Patrick (late Jane) of Penn Hills and Daniel Leach of Wilkinsburg.

Tom was also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John and his sister, Mary Leach.

Tom was a WW II Navy veteran and a retired Boilermaker Foreman from USSteel, Edgar Thomson plant.

Tom’s viewing, Blessing Service and Military Honors will be private to his family, due to the current pandemic.

He will be laid to rest in Monongahela Cemetery.
