Sylvia Ann Kopay

Of Trafford, formerly of Braddock, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

Born the daughter of the late John Kopay, Sr. and the late Sylvia J. (Lewis) Kopay.

Beloved mother of Samantha (Jordan) King of Trafford.

Loving sister of Georgette (Ronald) Dusetzina and Judith (Paul) Telli.  Preceded in death by her brother, John Kopay, Jr.

Dear aunt of Ellen (Chad), Nicole (Shaneka), Brandi (Derek).  Great aunt of Kaylee, Mason and Leo.

Sylvia was proud to have been born and raised in Braddock, and was a graduate of St. Thomas High School.  She was a valued employee of the Subway Restaurant in Monroeville.  Sylvia was an animal lover and cared greatly for her 2 cats.  She found relaxation in vacationing to the beach, and swimming and laying by the pool.  She will forever be remembered for her outgoing personality and the time spent with her family during the holidays.
