Susan A. (Lusnak) O'Connor

Of Chalfant, age 76, passed away embraced by her loving family on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, following an unfortunate fall on Christmas Eve.

Beloved wife of D. Patrick O’Connor for 58 wonderful years.

Cherished mother of Kelly O’Connor, Colleen Casey, Patrick O’Connor, and Marnie O’Connor.

Adored grandmother of Abbey and Brennan Casey.

Born the daughter of the late Andrew and Helen Lusnak.

Sister of Mary Ellen Kozak and Cindy (Gary) Wilson. Preceded in death by siblings, Geri Layman and Barbara (surviving spouse, Jim) Collins. 

Sister-in-law of Brian (the late Lorraine) O’Connor, the late Mary Joan (surviving spouse, Tony) Baverso, and the late Robert “Bo” (surviving spouse, Emily) O’Connor.

Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Susan was a 1963 graduate of West Mifflin North High School.  She prided herself for being a homemaker and treasured the memories of raising her four children.  Susan later began working as a secretary for the Woodland Hills School District, where she retired with over 30 years of service.  Following retirement, she enjoyed visiting casinos, boating on the Allegheny River, and spending winters in Key Largo with Pat.  She was a longtime member of Saint Maurice Church, the AOH Division 17 in Monroeville, and the Wilkins Elks Lodge 577.  Susan will be forever remembered for her warm, loving heart she shared with all of those around her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 12 noon in Saint Maurice Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
