Beloved daughter of Dorothy (Limbacher) Navish and the late Charles “Chuck” Navish and also dear granddaughter of the late Dorothy "Lizzie" Limbacher.
Cherished sister of Dennis (Mary Ann) Navish of Penn Hills and Marlene (Patrick) O’Leary of West Mifflin.
Loving aunt of Meghan (Michael) Safko, Kristen Navish, Katelyn O’Leary and Molly O’Leary.
Great-aunt of Victor Navish and Sophia Safko.
Susan was a 1971 graduate of St. Thomas High School in Braddock and earned her B.A. in Sociology from John Carroll University and her M.S.S.A. from Case Western Reserve University.
From 1978-2001, Susan was a Home Health Agency administrator and from 2002-2013 she was the Executive Director of the Multiple Sclerosis Service Society in Pittsburgh. Susan was an active member of the National Association of Social Workers. She was a staunch advocate in pushing for the licensing of social workers in Pennsylvania. In the early 1990’s, Susan’s efforts were rewarded with legislation that now requires licensure of social workers.

Susan will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
