Shirley J. (Kudrec) Golofsky

Of Munhall, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 27, 2021.

Beloved spouse of the late Charles “Chuck” Lippert.

Loving mother of Maryann (William) Hart of Rostraver Twp., Sandy (Edward Bailey) Golofsky of West Mifflin, Diane (Pasquale Marasco) Stecker of Verona, and Carolyn (Steven) Korotko of Trafford.

Dear grandmother of William (Charlee) Hart, Wesley Bailey, Courtney (Nate Hibbs) Bailey, T.J. Korotko, Dylan Sanders, Cheyenne Hart, Haley Korotko, and Zachary Korotko.

Sister of Noreen (Butch) Aikman, Barbara Kappa, Eugene (Karen Flaherty) Huzdovich, and Janet (Steve) Hudak.

Preceded in death are her parents; John and Philomena (Owens) Kudrec; her siblings, John and Dennis Kudrec; and her adored German Shepherd, King.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Shirley worked as a clerk at the Wilkinsburg Goodwill for over 20 years.  She was a faithful member of the Good Shepherd Church in Braddock.  Shirley enjoyed cooking, baking, singing, and had a passion for animals, especially horses.  She will forever be remembered for her kind and selfless personality.

Friends are welcome Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, PA 15112; (412) 824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m.

Shirley will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
