Scott D. Shimmell, Sr.

Of North Versailles, age 53, died on Friday, January 17, 2025.

Scott was the father of Scott D. Shimmell of Puerto Rico.

He was the beloved son of David Lee Shimmell and the late Myrna Louise (Funk) Shimmell.

Scott was the brother of Gary Shimmell of North Versailles, James (Margaret) Shimmell of Wilkins Twp., Mark (the late Irene Perkins) Shimmell of Wilmerding and the late David (surviving spouse, Peg) Shimmell.

Scott is also survived by nieces and nephews.

For over 20 years Scott was employed as an auto detailer for Tom Clark Recon in White Oak and later became an employee of Walmart in North Versailles. Scott loved to care for cats, and he enjoyed collecting miniature Nascar race cars. Scott also was known for his ability to rebuild auto engines.

There will not be a viewing or service.
