Obituary

Of Monroeville, formerly of Swissvale, died peacefully after a long battle with cancer, on Tuesday, May 16, 2023.

Sandi was the beloved  wife of the late David Matelan, Sr. for 33 years.

She was the devoted and treasured mother of Jill (Al) Schubert of Natrona Heights and David (Iulia) Matelan of Monroeville.

Sandi was the precious grandmother of Alaina and Tyler Schubert.

She was the sister of Joseph (Amy) Boros of Monroeville, Jack (Irene) Boros of Gibsonia , the late Darlene (late Edward) Ornowski and the late Barry Boros.

Sandi is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Sandi was a 1978 graduate of Swissvale High school. She ended her work career as a billing and customer service representative with Premier Medical associates in Monroeville.

Her most cherished moments were any time spent with her family.

Per Sandi’s wishes, there will not be a visitation or service. Sandi’s family will get together at a later date to celebrate her life.
