Sandra L. (McGowan) Montgomery

Of Lawrenceville, PA, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

Born October 24, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. McGowan, Sr and Lorretta K. McGowan. She is survived by her two children, son Robert (R.J.), daughter Lori and her husband Victor along with their son, her grandson Maxwell. She is also survived by her long-time partner Michael Niehl, his four children and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is leaving behind 3 of her 4 siblings, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, even a great-great niece with a great-great nephew on the way. Sandy will be sorely missed by family and friends alike for her giving spirit and kind heart. She was a sweet soul that has been taken from us before her time. May the light of God shine on her and may she be overcome with the peace she deserves in her afterlife.

Friends are welcome Saturday from 2-7 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory; 1111 Monroeville Ave.; Turtle Creek, PA 15145; (412) 823-9350, where a Blessing Service will be held at 7 p.m. 

Sandy will be laid to rest in William Penn Memorial Park.
