Ruth Ann was the beloved wife of Robert Hornyak for 30 years.

She was the loving and devoted mother of Ricki (Kerry) Shearer of McKeesport and Dawn (John, III) Inks of Cranberry.

Ruth Ann was the precious grandmother of Rebecca Shearer, Michael Scott, Destiny Inks, Johnny Inks, Kathryn Hornyak and Sarah Hornyak.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Charles Schrecengost.

In her early career, and as a single mom, Ruth Ann was a bartender at various local establishments, a job that she truly loved. Later, she became an agent for Prudential and a care giver with Comfort Keepers.
