Of Wilkins Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Roy was a 1970 graduate of Gateway High School and was the son of the late Max and late Ruth Musser. Roy served in the US Army and was stationed overseas in various locations including Germany at the end of the Vietnam War. Roy also traveled the world while employed by Siemen’s Westinghouse for 42 years, where he made many friendships that lasted throughout the years.
Roy was the beloved husband of Coreen (Reno/Anderchak) Musser and the caring step father of David (Catherine) Anderchak, Jeff “Chooky” (Elise) Anderchak and Tisha Frisoli.
He was the proud grandfather of Jeffrey Anderchak, Luke Anderchak, Breanna Anderchak, Jack Woodburn (Erika), Bruce Anderchak, Gianna Frisoli and Rocco Frisoli who adored him and cherished every moment.
Roy was the treasured brother-in-law of Barbara (Bob) Strang, Debra (Pete) Catone, Lynn Nixdorf and Karen (Eddie) Hetherington. A special thanks to Eddie Hetherington, who also served as his trusted and special caregiver.
He was also the proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Roy was a member of the Wilkins Elks and he was the proud owner of his 1960 Chevy Corvette and frequently attended car cruises throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Roy enjoyed spending his retirement years at his lake house on Lake Latonka in Mercer County where he made tremendous friendships and awesome memories, earning him the nickname “Latonka Roy”. Roy was happiest at the lake working on projects around the yard….and all were welcomed at the campfire.
