Rosemary P. (McCue) Roberta

Of North Braddock, age 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, March 10, 2023.

Beloved wife of James R. Roberta for 30 years.

Loving mother of Sharleen Moore of Sharpsville.

Adored step mother of Jennifer (Charles) Arthrell.  

Cherished grandmother of Shawna (Garret) Rowe, Collin Moore, Jeremy McMunn, Halee McMunn.  Great-grandmother of Macee McMunn.

Dear sister of Colleen (the late Benno) Miller and John (Becky) McCue, Jr.

Aunt of Wendy McCue and Jackie (Jenna) McCue.  Great-aunt of Dustin Ulrich and Avery McCue.

Rosemary was a 1967 graduate of St. Thomas High School in Braddock.  She was a devout Catholic and worked for 18 years as secretary at the former St. William Catholic Church in East Pittsburgh.  Rosemary was a social member of the VFW Post 5008 in East Pittsburgh, where some of her greatest pastimes were spent dancing to oldies music.  She enjoyed vacationing in Wildwood, N.J. and taking Sunday morning drives with Jim.  Rosemary was proud of her Irish heritage and affectionately earned the nickname from her family, “Wild Irish Rose.”  Most of all, Rosemary treasured the role of being a wife, mother, and loved spending time with her family.      

Friends are welcome Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, PA 15112; (412) 824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held at 6 p.m..

Rosemary will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville at a later date.
