Of North Braddock, age 70, died peacefully at home on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
Ron was the dear father of Ronald A. Rodman, Jr. of Dormont and Meranda (Adam) Brown of Oakdale.
He was the step-father of Richelle (Jim) Hohl of Glassport and Stacey (Thomas) Newton of GA.
Ron was the grandfather of Ronald A. Rodman, III, Nicholas A. Rodman, Ryan Rodman, Nathan Rodman, Demian Rodman and Paziah Rodman.
Ron is also survived by his siblings, William (Melissa) Rawson, Charlotte (Marc) Hulsman, Dorinda Rodman, Caroline (Raymond) Sinclair and George Parsons.
Ron was a 1974 graduate of General Braddock High School. In his early working career, he was employed with Westinghouse Airbrake in Wilmerding. Eventually Ron was hired as a janitor with the Steel Valley MH/MR in Homestead and retired with 25 years of service.
Ron was a passionate outdoorsman and caretaker of his camp property in Smithton. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all aspects of camping. An extension of his zeal for the outdoors were the flower and vegetable gardens that he created and cared for in Smithton.
