Obituary of Robert A. Ferrari, Sr.

Of Turtle Creek, age 81, died at his home on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

Bob was the devoted and loving husband of the late Janice (Zdybak) Ferrari for 25 years.

He was the cherished father of Robert A. Ferrari of Turtle Creek, Edward Ferrari of Latrobe, Annette Ferrari of Derry, the late Carol Hollobaugh and the late Anthony Ferrari.

Bob was the treasured stepfather of Sherry (Mike) Recklein of Monroeville.

Bob is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brother, August Ferrari.

Bob attended Latrobe High School but left early to join the U.S.Army and served for 3 years. Bob was a career semi-trailer truck driver and travelled throughout the U.S.A. Upon retirement he continued to drive but in a different style, as a limousine driver.

Bob was a fun loving, humorous man who loved to be with people and his cats. His most important role in life was as an attentive caregiver for his beloved Janice who died in 2021.

There will not be a visitation.

Bob will be laid to rest with Military Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
