of Forest Hills, passed away on Mother’s Day, May 8, surrounded by her children. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband Louis Zezza of Forest Hills, her wonderful parents Carl and Margaret Rossetti of Trafford, her son Vincent Zezza of Forest Hills and her caring Aunt’s Daisy Carfagna of Trafford and Ann O’Neil of North Braddock.
Survived by her loving children: Angela Zezza, Elizabeth Jimm and Peggy Zezza all of Forest Hills; Doreen and husband, Lou, Passarello of North Huntingdon; Joe (Tracy Muson Yount) Zezza of Olathe, Kansas.
Also survived by greatest joys of her life, her grandchildren: Jonathan and Aaron Jimm of Forest Hills; Sarah (Jared) Amos of Churchill; Samantha (Matt) Pleso of Cranberry Township; Daniel (Emily Novak) Passarello of Medford, MA; Andrew Passarello of North Huntingdon; Julia Zezza of Cleveland, OH; Nathan Zezza of Pine Mountain, CA. She was beloved “Grandma Gina” to Miliana and Adalynn Amos.
She was the beloved sister to Carl and Sandra Rossetti of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. She was loved by many, including nieces/nephews and friends, especially Cousin Donna “Girlfriend” (Paul) Owen of Gibsonia and Barbara Mogus of Chalfant.
She spent her early years making a beautiful home for her husband and children, while working as bookkeeper for her husband’s business. She went back into the workforce after her husband’s death and retired as teller from Great American Federal/First Commonwealth Bank of Forest Hills.
A great cook/baker, she loved cooking for family and friends. Center of her home was the kitchen, where she spent much time hosting guests around the table. She would frequently be seen as biggest cheerleader at grandchildren’s events. Her other joys were Pittsburgh sports, playing family football poll, fantasy football league, as well as cards, travel, Indy Racing, dancing, theater, decorating home for holidays, road trips, Seinfeld, Jeopardy and more. She frequently talked to friends and family via telephone.
A very devout Catholic, she was an active member of St. Maurice Church of Forest Hills St. Joseph the Worker Parish, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and Parish Council secretary, Donut Sunday Chairperson, Asst. Chairperson of Giving Tree Project for over 20 years and member of Apostolate Committee. She also served as Treasurer for Churchill Chapter of AARP.
A giving person, she donated to many charities. Those wishing to make a memorial donation can do so to a charity of their choice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 14 in St. Maurice Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Forest Hills at 10 AM.
Burial will follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery in Monroeville.
