Raymond "Pete" F. Schuster

Born in Forest Hills and a lifelong resident of Forest Hills, age 93, died on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

Pete was the son of the late Anthony and Bertha (Miller) Schuster. He was the beloved brother and constant companion of the late Rosemary Valentic.

He is survived by numerous cousins.

Pete was a retired employee of the Forest Hills Public Works Department with 37 years of service. He was a longtime active member and volunteer with St. Maurice Church. Pete enjoyed golfing as he was introduced to the game at the former Forest Hills Golf Course which was developed into a present-day housing neighborhood.

Friends are welcome on Monday from 4-7pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable Ave., East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800.

Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maurice Church of St. Joseph the Worker Church on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Pete will be laid to rest with his family at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
