Pierina M (Martelli) Dumi

Of North Versailles, age 88, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late William R. Dumi for 40 years.

Born the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mariangela Martelli.

Sister of the late Josephine Caridi.

Dear mother of Robert Dumi, of North Versailles; the late Renee Briggs;

Denise (the late Nick) Miele, of North Versailles; and Richard (Kathy) Dumi, of Larimer.

Loving grandmother of Deanna (William) Supancic, Ryan (Austin) Miele, Jessica (Richard) Grace, Amanda Dumi and Dustin (Jordan) Dumi.

Treasured great grandmother of Grace and Frank Supancic, and Lillian and Thomas Grace.

Pierina is also survived by her cherished Siberian Husky Gracie Dumi, and many nieces and nephews.

Pierina was born in Vazzano, Italy and moved to Braddock, PA at the age of 15. She worked at East Allegheny School district as a cafeteria worker and baker, retiring after 35 years of service. Pierina was a devout catholic and enjoyed attending Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Pierina loved to cook, garden and crochet. She liked watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, especially Sidney Crosby. 

At the request of the family, services will be made private. Arrangements made by the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Bahl & Bahl Medical Associates and Bridges hospice for their care.
