Paul R. McNearney

Of North Huntingdon, age 81, died on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Beloved husband of Mary Ann Chismar for 19 years.

Loving step-father of David (Maureen) Chismar of FL., Daniel (Beth) Chismar of McMurray and Dennis (Tereza) Chismar of North Dakota.

Dear grandfather of Anna, Michael, Jack, Daniel and Ava Chismar.

Brother of Mary Muzzio and Annette (Bill) Moran.

Paul is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Paul was a proud U.S. Army veteran and served during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the Norwin VFW and the American Legion Post #980 in Plum. He and Mary Ann volunteered for many years at the Southwest Veterans Home where they managed the Bingo game. Paul enjoyed spending time in his garden nurturing and growing flowers and vegetables.

Friends are welcome on Sunday from 1-5pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).

Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon, on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Those attending are asked to just gather at Church.

Paul will be laid to rest in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Monday, November 28.
