Of East Pittsburgh, formerly of Mt. Washington, age 58, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born the son of Paul B. McKibben, Sr. and Diane (Davidson) McKibben.
Beloved husband of Susan L. (Weschler) McKibben for 17 years.
Loving father of Paul John “P.J.” Weschler and Gabriel McKibben.
Dear brother of Charles McKibben of Mt. Washington.
Also survived by brothers and sisters in law, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his dog, Zoey.
Paul was a 1985 graduate of South Hills High School. He was a skilled worker and held positions with several employers, most notably with Parkhurst Corporation in their catering division. Paul was a believer in God, and a member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church for 19 years. He was most devoted to caring for his wife and children, and attended countless Pittsburgh sports events with P.J. and Gabriel over the years. His family has filled his heart with pride and he knows that his children will carry on his legacy of kindness, compassion, and his quiet, gentle nature.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 9 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church, 1840 Ardmore Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15221, followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Afterwards, there will be fellowship and light refreshments in the church parlor.
