Patrick W. "Gonzo" Gordon

Formerly of East Pittsburgh, age 65, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023.

Born the son of the late Patrick D. Gordon and the late Anna Mae (Kerlin) Gordon.

Dear cousin of Edward (Patricia) Onovcik of North Braddock and George (Mary) Ondovcik of Penn Hills.

Also survived by many cousins and close friends from the North Braddock and former East Pittsburgh Volunteer Fire Departments.

Pat was employed for many years for the Westinghouse Airbrake and the Sunoco gas station in East Pittsburgh.  He was a lifelong volunteer firefighter of the East Pittsburgh, and then North Braddock Volunteer Fire Departments.  Pat served as President of the East Pittsburgh Fire Department from 2000-2006.  He grew fond of giving back to his community and those that surrounded him.  Pat served as a volunteer coach for the East Pittsburgh Little League, an assistant coach for Lawrenceville Catholic High School basketball team.  He was also a member of the Steel Valley Hockey Club.

Friends are welcome Wednesday from 3-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, PA 15112; (412) 824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held at 7 p.m. followed by a Volunteer Fireman’s Service at 7:30 p.m.
