Of Plum, age 70, died on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, after a long battle with M.S. and cancer.
Born the daughter of Eldon and the late Donna (Mains) O’Hara.
Pat was the beloved wife of Andrew “Andy” P. Wanczak for 49 wonderful years.
Cherished mother of Kelly (Steve) Illig of Scott Twp., and Mark (Leigh Ann) Wanczak of Ross Twp.
Loving grandmother of Jude and Fiona Wanczak.
Dear sister of Robert O’Hara of Oil City, Barbara (Ken) Nolan of Monroeville, Terry (Joe) McGlaughlin of Oil City, Debbie (the late Jim) Lehr of Monroeville, Dan O’Hara of Turtle Creek, and Alan (Judy) O’Hara of Angelica, NY.
Patti is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Patti was a graduate of Turtle Creek High School, class of ’72. Afterwards, she attended Duff’s Business School. Patti worked as an assistant manager at Smoker Friendly. She enjoyed going to the beach with Andy. Their favorite place to go was Bethany Beach in Delaware. Patti enjoyed reading and watching all the local Pittsburgh sports, cheering on the Penguins, Steelers and the Pirates. Most of all, Patti enjoyed spending time with her loving family.
Friends and family are welcome on Saturday, October 5, 2024 1-3 p.m. at the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m.
