Obituary of Patricia A. (Slater) McGuigan

Of Level Green, age 66, died on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude (Morrison) Slater.
Patty was the beloved wife of Patrick McGuigan for 51 years.
She was the loving and treasured mother of Sean (Brittany) McGuigan of Verona and was proud to be the cherished grandmother of Patrick and Cassidy McGuigan.
Patty was the sister of Donna Slater, Sandy Slater, the late George (late Lily) Slater and late Donald Slater.
She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Patty had a rewarding career as a home health aide for various agencies and medical practices. For enjoyment, Patty was fond of trying different arts and crafts and ceramics projects. She loved to decorate her home for Christmas to provide a festive and welcome space for her family. Vacationing with family and friends was always a special time for Patty. She relished a good meal at Olive Garden and being with the staff. Patty was profoundly devoted to her family and her pets and loved them all abundantly. 
Friends are welcome on Friday from 2-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Patty will be laid to rest in Denmark Manor Cemetery.
