Of Monroeville, age 89, died peacefully at her home with her family at her side.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Brannigan for 28 years until his death in 1978.

Dear grandmother of Stephanie (Bill) Yorty of Irwin and great-grandmother of Clayton and Kinsley Yorty.
Pat was the last surviving child of 14 children of Michael and Julia Shamya.
For years, Pat was employed as a housekeeper at the former Holiday House in Monroeville and enjoyed the stars who performed there. She especially liked James Darren with whom she watched soap operas, and who would serenade her with his hit song, “Patricia”. Later, she worked with her daughter, Denise, at both the Palace Inn Hotel and the Parkvale Building, both in Monroeville.
Pat’s favorite pastimes were crocheting, solving word puzzles, calculating the PA daily number, reading, shopping at Walmart and watching the movie “Ghost”.
Friends are welcome on Wednesday from 4-7pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
Pat will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery.
