Norma J. (Smith) Nash, a life long resident of East Pittsburgh, age 65, on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.
Norma was a retired employee of Braddock Hospital with 44 years of service. Her last positions at the hospital were as the Coordinator of the Healthy Horizon program and as the Coordinator of Volunteers. She loved her work and was a passionate advocate for those whom she served.
Beloved wife of Edward J. Nash for 30 years.
Loving mother of Lindsey Nash of East Pittsburgh.
Dear grandmother of Antonio and Aalyiah Nash.
Preceded in death by her brother, Ebert ‘Mel’ Smith (surviving wife, Beverly), and her sisters, Beverly Schirra (surviving husband, Ernie) and Betty Ryan(the late Donald).
Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Friends welcome Wed. and Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh 412-824-8800.
Funeral Service in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday. Time later.
