We are overwhelmed with sadness to announce the passing of Norine (DiLucente) Sepesy, age 91, wife of Richard Sepesy, Sr. who passed just 8 days ago. Norine was born on October 1, 1931 to Antonio and Nicoletta DiLucente of Rankin. Norine graduated from St. Thomas High School (class of ’49) and then from Seton Hill College (class of ’53) with a teaching degree in languages.
Norine was preceded in death by her parents Antonio & Nicoletta, her husband Dr. Richard Sepesy, Sr, sister Mary (Louis) Cassinelli, brothers Tony (Frances) DiLucente, Quintin (Mae) DiLucente, Nicholas DiLucente, Carmen DiLucente, and grandson Christian Klorczyk. She is survived by her sister Annie Henderson, her children Lynne (Frederick) Klorczyk, Jr., Dr. Richard (Kathy) Sepesy, Jr., & Janette (Bob) Regola III, grandchildren Frederick J (Victoria) Klorczyk III, Parker Klorczyk, Christopher (Sarah) Sepesy, Rachel (Joseph) Glinski, Eric (Samantha) Sepesy, Robert (Bridget) Regola IV, John (Lauren) Regola, and Marlena (Brandon) Ewing. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Norine was a loving and caring wife, sister, daughter, Nana, and friend to all who knew and loved her. She worked as a substitute teacher in elementary school, but her focus was always on her husband and family’s needs. Norine was an athlete in high school, playing basketball, & she loved to dance. She also loved to water and snow ski in her younger years. Norine’s spaghetti sauce and meatballs were a family and friend favorite, and she enjoyed hosting and feeding all of us with her wonderful cooking! Her love and kindness will be so deeply missed by all who knew her.
Many thanks to all of the loving-kindness & care given by her caregivers over the last two years. May she rest in peace in the loving arms of her family in heaven.
Norine & Richard’s life will be celebrated together from 2-5 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday in Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday in St. Bernadette Church (Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish) 245 Azalea Drive, Monroeville, PA 15146. They will both be laid to rest in Restland Memorial Cemetery in Monroeville.
