Nicholas R. "Nick" Palmiero

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas “Nick” Palmiero, who left us on August 8, 2025.

Nick was previously married to the late Mary (Lynch) Palmiero, with whom he shared two beloved sons: Nick Jr., who shares his life with his fiancé Patty, and Jeff, married to Kelly. Nick was a proud grandfather to granddaughters Katrina (32), Briana (28) (fiancé Brendan Rush), and Isabella (24).

Nick spent 42 wonderful years with the love of his life, Patty Tuskan, whom he loved dearly. He was an important and cherished part of her family. Through Patty, Nick was blessed with two stepsons: Thomas Tuskan, married to Kelly Tuskan, and their son, his grandson, Tommy (18), and Patty’s second son, Jason, who is married to Michelle.

Nick was a 1958 graduate of Braddock High School and attended Point Park University. He dedicated an incredible 68 years of his career to Bell Supply, where he was known for his strong work ethic and loyalty. Among his responsibilities and titles at Bell Supply were ‘Sales Manager’, ‘Computer Technician’ and ‘Chief Kitchen Designer’. Nick was a member of the Irwin Moose, Braddock Elks and was a proud 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

When his boys were growing up, Nick found great satisfaction in coaching their football and baseball teams and he always enjoyed a good round of golf.

Above all, Nick was known for his quick wit and his gift for making everyone around him laugh. He loved his Steelers, and his warmth, humor, and kindness touched all who knew him. 

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.; 700 Linden Ave at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800) where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Nick will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
