Naima H. Scott-Williams, a cherished presence known for her boundless love and kindness, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at the age of 39. Born on April 7, 1985, in Pittsburgh, Naima's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her loved ones and the community she served.

A graduate of Gateway High School in 2003, Naima furthered her education by earning an Associate's Degree that paved the way for her calling in the healthcare field. Her professional journey was marked by her compassionate service as an aide in healthcare, and she found her true vocation as a traveling phlebotomist for special needs adults.

Naima was a devoted wife to her husband of 20 years, Ramone D. Williams, and a loving mother to her five children, Khyree Scott Williams, Aniyah Williams, Ramone Williams Jr., Khyir Williams, and Raniya Williams.

She is also survived by her grandson, Karter Scott; her parents, Charles G. Scott and Adoracion Deguzman and her siblings, John Trent, Shanalynn (William Powe) Trent, Ismail (Aniyah) Scott, Jihad Scott, as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

In her personal life, Naima was the epitome of love and caring. Her family was the core of her universe, and she showered them with deep affection that knew no bounds. Her love often manifested in the kitchen, where she was an excellent cook, creating meals that not only nourished the body but also warmed the soul.  Naima was a reliable friend and relative, a beacon of support who was always ready to lend a hand, regardless of the time of day.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon in Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home, 700 Linden Avenue, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112 (412-824-8800).

Naima will then be laid to rest in Homewood Cemetery.
