Myrna L. (Funk) Shimmell

Of North Versailles, age 75, died on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Beloved mother of Gary Lee Shimmell of North Versailles, Jim (Margaret) Shimmell of Wilkins Twp., Scott Shimmell, Sr. of North Versailles, Mark (Irene “Jenny”) Shimmell of Wilmerding and the late David C. Shimmell.

Dear grandmother of Johnathan Perkins, Hunter Perkins, Scott Shimmell Jr., Shelley, Mike and Vallen King.

Myrna was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren.

Former spouse of David L. Shimmell.

Myrna was a career homemaker and caregiver to her family. She loved animals, especially her cats. Myrna also enjoyed a good game of Bingo.

Friends are welcome on Tuesday from 10a.m. – 1pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350 where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 1pm. Myrna will then be laid to rest in Penn Lincoln Cemetery.
