Obituary of Michael J. Lekovitch

Of Mt. Pleasant, age 68, passed away on Tuesday,  June 23, 2026.

Michael was raised in Rankin, the son of the late Walter and late June (Marecic) Lekovitch.

He was the brother of Walter (Audrey) Lekovitch, William (Patti) Lekovitch, John (Karen) Lekovitch, George (Lisa) Lekovitch, Mary Jo (late Martin) Cosgrove, Edward (Renean) Lekovitch and June Lekovitch.

Mike was a 1975 graduate of General Braddock High School and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Dean Tech.

For the majority of his work career, Mike was employed with U.S. Steel, Edgar Thomson Works from where he retired as an expeditor.

For relaxation, he enjoyed fishing, but mostly he was just pleased to savor the peace and tranquility of his home and property in Fayette County.

There will not be a visitation or service.
