Of Forest Hills, age 55, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022.Michael started working in his teens, side by side with his father and brother in the family painting business where he worked for over 40 years. His passion for color and design made him invaluable to his clients.
Michael was a man who wanted all to have fun and he did his best at making all those around him happy. He was always kind and giving to those he loved and a best friend to many. Michael truly had a style all his own; he loved art, design and all things of beauty; especially women and fast cars.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents Basil Damico, Regina Damico and step-father Miroslav Neovesky.
Michael is survived by his sisters, Kim Damico of Springfield, VA. and Carol Lawson (Jeff) of Wendell, NC; his brother, John Damico (Linda) of Forest Hills; and loving nieces and nephews, Nicole & Christopher Lawson, Mia & Nicolas Damico, all of whom he loved and touched deeply.
Friends are welcome Thursday, June 23 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 am at St. John Fisher Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
