She is also survived by her mother figure, Teresa Wynn, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews, and her extended “bonus children” whom she deeply cherished.

A 1998 graduate of Woodland Hills High School, Melyssa went on to serve as a logistics coordinator for several businesses throughout the greater Pittsburgh area.  Melyssa was well known for creating a welcoming atmosphere, which she put to good use tending bar for a number of local establishments, most notably the American Legion Post #527 in East Pittsburgh.

Melyssa was a woman of many interests and talents. She had a deep love for travel, particularly to warmer climates with beautiful beaches, with Florida being her favorite destination. A skilled artist and painter, Melyssa was known for creating unique birthday glasses for her family and friends, a testament to her creativity and thoughtfulness. Her outgoing and friendly nature made her a joy to be around, and she had a knack for lighting up any room she entered with her vivacious personality.
