Obituary of Maxine Neeper
Of Forest Hills, age 82, on Tuesday, August 20, 2013.
Beloved wife of Donald F. Neeper for 63 years.
Loving mother of Susan (late Michael) Daniher of CO, Terry (late Raymond) Bradley of Monroeville, Lee Ann (Gerry) Sandusky of MD and Mark (Lisa) Neeper of CO.
Dear grandmother of Christopher Daniher, Sweet Cicely (John Firpo) Daniher, Kathryn and Zachary Sandusky and Bradley Neeper.Sister of Lucille Amasimo of Wilmerding, Mary Ann Reilly of MI and the late Faith Rizzo.
Survived, too, by her devoted, special niece, Lisa Reilly, who along with Lucille and Lee Ann, were dedicated caregivers to Maxine for the past 2 years.
Also survived by her pet kitty, ‘Pearl’.
Maxine was an excellent baker and an accomplished seamstress, creating beautiful varied works of clothing for family and friends.She was a devout member of St. Maurice Parish, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the parish’s Ladies of Charity.
Friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Friday from 4-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home 700 Linden Ave., East Pittsburgh (412-824-8800).Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maurice Church on Saturday at 10 a.m. with interment to follow at Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
