Of Monroeville, age 91, on Saturday, October 31, 2015.

Beloved husband of both the late Theresa (Giordano) and the late Jean Marie (Ford).

Loving father of Nancy (George) Pasvantis of Penn Hills, Carol Ann (late Louis) Argentine of Turtle Creek and Phillip (Marian) Nardozzi of Plum

Dear grandfather of  Dana (Billy) Muller, Lisa Marie Pasvantis and Louis Argentine.

Proud great-grandfather of Adam Pasvantis, and Jackson and Colby Muller.

Preceded in death by his sisters, Marietta Cardelien, Lucy DeMartino, Helen Madonna, his twin, Cora Blazer and his brothers, Danny and Mike Nardozzi.

Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Mauro was a WW II Navy veteran and a retired employee of the Wilkinsburg-Penn Joint Water Authority. He loved gardening and raised the best tomatoes, and also enjoyed reading and watching sports. He was a life member of the Penn Hills American Legion.

Friends welcome Sunday from 6-8pm and Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home, Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek 412-823-9350.

Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman Church on Tuesday. Time later.

Mauro will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
