Mary Rose was a helpful to hand to anyone she associated herself with. Her warm presence was constant in her neighborhood, with her family, and even continued to be felt even during her time at the WeCare nursing facility in Monroeville, where she would check up on the needs of her neighbors. Mary Rose’s professional life was spent working as an office assistant of two local grocery stores, Amos Supermarket in Homestead and Jimmy and Nino’s in the Strip District. Above all, Mary Rose embraced the role of being a Mom to her children, especially to her special daughter, Darlene. She will forever be remembered for her qualities of love, kindness, and friendliness, which she filled through the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Per Mary Rose’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, PA 15112, (412) 824-8800.
