Mary "Beth" E. (Magura) Holt

Formerly of North Braddock, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Born the daughter of the late Michael Magura and the late Mary Hellen (McCune) Magura.

Beloved wife of the late Wayne L. Holt, Sr.

Loving mother of Wayne L. (Carol) Holt, Jr. of WV, Debra (Richard) Wilson of Forest Hills, Brian (Jennifer) Holt of Murrysville, and Dawn (Carmine) Russo of Plum.

Cherished grandmother of Nick (Janneth) Leombruno, Jason (Cailey) Holt, Jordan Holt, Sarah, Colin, and Sean Holt, Torian Wilson, and Kayci and Carmine Russo, and soon to be, Baby Russo.

Great-grandmother of Lucas and Myles Holt.

Beth worked as a switchboard operator at the former Braddock Hospital for 10 years before retiring.  She was a member of the North Braddock Volunteer Fire Department Ladies of Auxiliary.  Beth enjoyed crocheting, completing various crafts and crossword puzzles, and was a talented cook and baker.  She had a well-known tradition of decorating the windows of her home for holidays and birthdays, which would always be accompanied by delicious meals and cakes.  She was a proud homemaker and treasured the time spent seeing her family grow before her own eyes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10 a.m. in Good Shepherd Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Beth will be laid to rest in Monongahela Cemetery beside her soul mate, Wayne Sr.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of Concordia of Monroeville for the wonderful care they provided to Beth during her time there.
