Mary Malich Obituary

Of East Pittsburgh, age 99, died on Sunday, May 8, 2022 surrounded by family

Mary is preceded in death by sister Violet (Late John) Hellner and brother Walter (Late Gloria) Malich.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Mary right out of High school went to work during World War II at Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh doing her part for the war effort. She had a career of over 40 years.

Mary loved to dance and could be found at many dance venues, even in her 90’s. If she wasn’t dancing she was playing bingo somewhere.

Friends welcome Wednesday, May 18 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory Inc; 700 Linden Ave. at Cable; East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800, where a Blessing Service will be held at 1:00 PM.

Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
