Marlene J. (Niehl) Kuklewski

A lifelong resident of Wilkins Twp., age 89, died on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, just 4 hours shy of her 90th birthday.

Beloved wife of the late Albert Kuklewski who died in 1982.

Dear mother of Kimilly (James) Potter of Wilkins Twp.; Kevin (Virginia “Ginny”) Kuklewski of Camden, NC; Kerry (Kimberly “Kim”) Kuklewski of San Antonio, TX; Kenneth “Ken” (Jean) of Greensburg; Karen Kuklewski of Greensburg; and the late Kathleen “Kathy (survived by Timothy “Tim”) Shepherd of Greensburg.

Loving grandmother of Tim, Erika, Sean, Kole, Kyle, Mike, Elise, Kelly, Colin, Erin and Patrick

Treasured great grandmother of Sydney, Saige, Caleb, Dane, Hayley, Ford, Andi, Vince, and Joel.

Dear sister of Les (JoAnne) Niehl of Manor.

Aunt of Jake, Juli and Adam.

Marlene was a lifelong member of the St. Colman Church and enjoyed being part of the choir for over 20 years. She was a volunteer of the Century Club in Wilkins Twp. where she held Vice Presidency for several years. She was a follower of all Pittsburgh sport teams such as the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, and the Pitt Panthers. She enjoyed traveling over the years and visited Las Vegas and Hawaii. Marlene was a great cook and taught her children well. She enjoyed crocheting, especially afghans. She was an avid reader and enjoyed multiple genres. Above all else, family was everything to Marlene.

Friends welcome Friday, January 27, 2023, 3-8 p.m. at the Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at St. Colman Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Marlene will be laid to rest at Churchill Cemetery.
