Marjorie A. "Margie" (Evancho) Tinsley

Of Monroeville, age 81, on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Margie was born on September 30, 1941 in Turtle Creek where she was also raised, and raised her own family in Monroeville.

Margie was the most cherished wife of Leonard Tinsley for 61 years.

She was the loving mother of Marc (Connie) Tinsley, Amy (Michael) Wozniak, Melissa (David) Becker and the late Nick Tinsley.

Margie was the “Grante” to Monica (Michael) Rowe, Kevin Tinsley, Matthew (fiancé Allison Hogikyan) Wozniak, Alex (Kayla) Wozniak, Julianna (fiancé, Devin Meenihan) Wozniak, Maddie Becker, Abigaile Becker, Aniela Becker and Alexis Becker.

She was the great-grandmother of Amelia and Luka Wozniak and “Aunt Margie” to numerous nephews and nieces.

Sister of Bill (Linda) Evancho, Marci (Ken) Mason and the late Connie Morenzi.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Betty (Figulski) Evancho.

Margie was a graduate of Turtle Creek High School and a lifelong member of St. Colman Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and could usually be found in prayer. She expressed her creativity through watercolor painting, crafting, and knitting. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and sewing.

Mass of Christian Burial in St. Colman Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish) on Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Margie will be laid to rest in Good Shepherd Cemetery.
