Marie A. (Pella) Branzel

Of White Oak, formerly of Forest Hills, age 94, died suddenly on Sunday, December 26, 2021.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Branzel.

Dear sister of Philomena “Minnie” Stamerra of White Oak, Joseph (Ann Marie) Pella of Penn Hills, Elaine (Edward) Ribar of North Huntingdon and the late Peter D. Pella.

Sister-in-law of Don (late Frances) Branzel of Murrysville and the late Edward (surviving spouse, Emily) Branzel.

Marie is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Marie was considered a treasure by her family, especially the nieces and nephews. She was known to always “have a party for the kids” by passing out treats of all kinds. Marie was also famous for her nicknaming of the kids. She was a staunch and knowledgeable Pittsburgh Steeler fan.

Friends are welcome on Thursday from 1-7pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.

Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish on Friday at 10:00am. 

Marie will be laid to rest in Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
